Liveclicker Co-Founder and CTO, Walt Mann, speaks at Stanford this Friday!
Walt Mann is currently Liveclicker‘s Co-Founder and CTO. He has worked in the areas of software design and development for over 20 years. Previously, he was principal architect at Fireclick, Inc., developing industry-leading products in web analytics and data warehousing. He was also employed by Stanford University for research in formal methods, language design, and event-based processing. Walt received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from University of California, San Diego, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University.
This Friday, February 14th, Walt, will be presenting to the Stanford EE-203 class, “The Entrepreneurial Engineer” about his experience with Liveclicker. The event will take place at Stanford’s Nvidia Auditorium at 2:15PM. Walt’s presentation will cover the three main points outlined below:
- The indispensable role of failure, accident, and unintended consequences in a start-up
- The entrepreneur as scientist, the market as lab
- Software Patents: menace to society?
